Hello Maple Creek PS Families,
This year we will be celebrating the arrival of fall and the month of October with FALL FEST. The purpose of Fall Fest is to have a school-wide event during the school day for all of our students to enjoy.
Fall Fest is on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. On that day, we will have music for dancing, art exploration activities, and a games room. We will do this in our gym, and provide students with an opportunity to purchase snacks while they participate. Our Primary, Junior and Intermediate divisions will go to the gym at different times in the day.
Students can also choose to wear fall colours or dress up in co stume if they like (in accordance to our school guidelines indicated on FALL FEST Flyer).
Along with this, our Grade 8 Ambassadors will be fundraising for graduation. They will be selling COOKIE GRAMS. Cookies will be sold for $2 each. Your child will have the opportunity to buy cookies for someone at school with a message attached to it. Cookiegrams will be delivered to homerooms at the end of the day on October 31st. Please see the sample of the message attached, as an example. Your child will get help from the Grade 8 Ambassadors or their homeroom teacher in order to write their messages.
