🍂 Fall Fest Feedback 🍂
Last Tuesday, we had our first school event during the day we called the Fall Fest. Students rotated through stations, choosing what activity they would enjoy most while at the Fall Fest. The day was filled with lots of excited energy from the festivities. We have also filled up all of our boxes for the Food Bank. We are very excited to share and give back to our community. The delight on the children’s faces when they added to their contribution to the food bank is beautiful to witness. To allow our students to contribute to the larger community helps them build responsibility and gain a greater awareness of the world around them. We are hoping your children came home with lots of memories to share of the day.
Please make sure you are logged on and in Edsby. This is an important way to communicate lates and absences for your child without having to call the school. It is also the best way to sign up for Parent Teacher interviews with your child’s teacher. Keep an eye out for an email from the office on Monday, providing more information about when you can start booking your appointment and how to meet with other teachers who may work with your child.
If you are unable to come during the evening of Thursday, November 16th, you may also choose November 17th during the day. If you cannot come in for either of the two days, please call or email the homeroom teacher to arrange for a different time. It is important to maintain communication with the homeroom teacher so that you may continue to stay informed about your child’s progress in school.
